Writing Course for Homeschoolers

March 20, 2013 By Ligia

I’ve been researching writing classes for my daughter the last few weeks. She is tired of IEW (it does get a bit tedious), so I am giving her a break from IEW and letting her do some different kind of creative writing. I found a few good sites that are geared towards creative writing. They are all probably opportunities we will try as we progress through eighth grade next year and then high school.

One Year Adventure Novel– this site looks AWESOME but it says grades 8-12 and its a bit pricely  $199. It will be something we will try later.

Homeschool Writing Co-op– this is another great possibililty for when she’s grade 9-12. The price is $85-$120 per class. Each class is six-eight weeks long.

Writing Classes for kids– this is the class we chose. It was $60 and they are for any age group. We started with the first class on Spark Your Imagination.

She is very excited about writing so I am excited too!
