On-line Shopping: Getting Your Best Deals

October 28, 2013 By Ligia

With Christmas around the corner, everyone is starting to think about shopping for their best deals. I shop for deals year round and sometimes I score big and sometimes not so much.

Here is how I get more bang for my buck:

  1. I always ALWAYS start at Ebates or Mr. Rebates. Ebates and Mr. Rebates is a company that gives you cash back if you click through the links of the stores listed on their site. I usually accumulated $5-$15 per cycle. Right now I have $7.08 that I will get come November 15th. It gets deposited into my Paypal account.
  2. Always look for codes whether shipping codes or percent off codes, I always go to MommysavesBig.In fact there are many printable coupons that I can only find there.Other sites include Retail Me Not and Coupon Cabin, but I find that their coupons are often expired. I did find an amazing coupon at Retail Me Not that I was able to combine with a $10 voucher I had at Skechers. I not only get cash back from Ebates, but I also got $27.50 off my shoes. I paid $46.96 for $70 shoes.
  3. Last, I love to go to money saving sites like the ones on my side bar: Money Saving Mom, Coupon Geek, etc. Last week one of the sites advertised a Babycakes Cake Pop Maker for $9.99 at Kohl’s. I used my ebates, and a 30% off coupon and a free shipping coupon so I spent only $6.52.
