My Cyber Monday

November 27, 2012 By Ligia

I ended up not really shopping Monday after all. Since I shopped on Kohls.com on Friday I really didn’t have anything left to buy! I am 99% done with my gifts. I am making a couple of gifts which I will share when I start them this week. Right now I just need to clear off my craft table……

Chuck E. Cheese Offers Gluten-Free Pizza

November 22, 2012 By Ligia

I just read this post on Delight Gluten Free Magazine. It sounds like a really cool set up. Chuck E. Cheese will have a gluten free pizza and gluten free cupcake on their menu. The pizza is sealed in a bag and and never is opened until its ready to eat. The cupcake comes in a plastic box. Visit this site and read more and watch the video.

I know we’ve been invited to parties at Chuck E. Cheese and I usually just bring his own gluten free pizza and his own cupcake. It is the only way we can be a part of a birthday event. Now, it will be available at the restaurant so if I just don’t have time or ingredients I know there will be an option there for him.

Taste? Don’t know. I guess we’ll have to wait for our next party invite!

My Black Friday Kohl’s Deal

November 22, 2012 By Ligia

I started my Cyber Monday shopping EARLY. Right now at Kohls:
*Kohl’s has over 500 Early Bird deals available on line.
*Save an extra 15% off with the code BLACKFRI
*Get free shipping with orders over $50
*Earn $15 of Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent.

Here are my tips:
Spend in increments of $50. So $50, $100, $150, etc. That way you get your $15 Kohls cash for every penny you spend. If you spend $89 for example you only get $15 but you could have earned $30 by spending another $11. You have to take into account the 15% of your order. So have a calculator nearby.
Also, use Ebates gives you a rebate of 6% for shopping at Kohls.

For example I just spent about $235.50 at Kohls.com. I got 15% off my total so that brought it down to $200.17.  I got $60 in Kohl’s cash. I will also get $12.01 from Ebates. So If I subtract the Kohls cash and ebates I spent a total of $128.

For $128 I got:

2 pairs of boots

2 pairs of pajamas

2 sweaters

2 pairs of Levi jeans

a pair of Isotoner gloves

Nike pullover

Big One Towel

Big One throw

That is a GREAT shop!
